Coligny wrote:I think one of the brainfart which is of the most offensive again human intelligence is the passage aboot breastfeeding right.

The author goes on describing a new law obliging companies to have dedicated breastfeeding rest space.
Then say this law is too much because companies would be glad to provide it by themselves without need for a law.

Then you realise that breastfeeding is not exactly a novelty...
And wonder why for such an old practice, if companies are so happy to provide boobie space, why didn't they already do it...
Then you understand that they didn't...
And that might be why a law was required...
And you facepalm while waiting for the next smoking gun... to facepalm again...

There's also some passage where statement are absolutely true... (nearly at the level of water being wet) but are used to carry a message that is barely linked... There is really not much honesty in the video... It's 'truther' level stuff. (were any point raised even if it might have had a little chance of being valid... is buried into so much bullshit rationalisation that you just wish you never heard it) The scheme goes like:
Attack on the Pentagone was an inside job.
Because it's a missile that hit the building.
And it's a missile because the gas station dude say it didn't look like a plane.
Problem being... when you've been around plane... you realise they are much smaller than people think they are. Just look at a picture of a big rig beside any commercial plane... So without even considering anything toward the event, you already know that the first element of analysis is totally flawed...

So the comments by Congressman Ron Paul, Peter Schiff and Gerald Celente were wrong because of breast feeding.....well thank god for that.

It's a professionally made video that was clearly funded by someone with an agenda. It's full of random out of context clips and quotes that are designed to instill fear. The music and general format of the video are also designed to instill fear.

If you're already convinced the world is about to implode then I certainly don't expect to change your mind -- see my .sig for details.

Dude, no offense, but i'm not your personnal intelligence analyst. I gave few issue that I could remember. The boobie issue being symptomatic of a totally delusional mindset bordering on being an intellectual crook. Most of the other argument fly under the same colors. Or the argument a good... but twisted to reach a conclusion that their author might never have thought to express... I'm not going to do a minute by minute debunking unless I can bill you for the job.

To sum up... yes, the end of times might come... but this video have really little chance to have pointed the finger on the real causes. It's closer to the usual bigottery, homosexual are the root cause for flood in New Orleans and on and on...

I'm not convinced, hence my comment about not advocating for the film. But I'm also not convinced by argument that the message is false because the messenger wears rags. That is why I was asking for a better counter argument which no seems to be able to offer.
I'm not interested in some biblical idea of end of days....or some truther idea of depopulation but about the core argument of economic failure due to debt load being so great and perpetual that that the only option left is to monetize.

You need to consider not just what is being said but also the who, why, and how.

AFAIK we don't know the who of this but from the video it is clear that whoever it is has a strong agenda of instilling fear (the why) and have designed a format specifically to do that (the how).

As Coligny already said, it's not worth my time to go through point by point. If you can't see that videos like this are meant to serve a specific purpose (spreading FUD) then there is little hope that you'd listen to any counter arguments anyway. Serious arguments do not need to be presented as this video is, they will stand on their own without post-production editing, fancy effects, and sinister background music. The only thing that could make this video "better" would be if Vincent Price had still been alive to narrate it (not saying he would have, but it would have added that extra level of "Thriller" to it.)

Yea..ok. The film was never introduced to get a critique on it. It was just another media with the same message that quite a few economists and even a Congressman are giving. I was interested in the comments of them more so than a film that presented some of them. As everyone is more interested in talking around the topic than at it, it seems a waste of time to continue.
No harm intended, none received. Peace.

If you want to discuss a topic seriously provide serious articles or full video clips, not propaganda and fear mongering.

Sounds about right -- we're in for a rough ride for the next few years but the world isn't about to disintegrate.
