Cameroon will start the game aggressively and score two goals before the end of the first half. Even though they could do better, I think the Africans will become more laid back and satisfied with the score and conserve their energy. My prediction is 3-0 for Cameroon.;)

How many of you will be watching the Japan-Cameroon game tonight specifically to get a kick out of watching Japan being humiliated?

Here, here! :D

Especially, when South Korea already did Greece with 3-0 Victory kill, no doubt if Japan gets killed, just like the 2002 world cup, they just lose interest in watching the rest of the matches.
By the way, what is Japan's overall ranking at the present?

I will watch hoping that Japan plays well, but knowing full well that they are going to lose. If they score first god help us all. You will see that replay over and over, much like the Arakawa Shizuka "inabauer" figure skating move.
I was watching the Germany Australia game today and the sound was much better, not sure why but the horns were much less prevalent. Now maybe it was just because there were two non-African nations playing, but whatever the reason could hear the commentary and even some cheering, chanting, oohs and aahs from the crowd.

I am hoping that it's not that bad of a game. I still see Cameroon only getting like 2 or 3 goals. Japan may get one, and maybe two.. but that is only if the Camerron goalie is drunk!!!

I was trying to get a Saturday thing going on for the Japan vs. Holland match, and none of my J-friends want to go (maybe it's me). They all had the same excuse, "I don't want to be in a public place watching my country's team get their assssssssssses handed to them." Seems like the locals have already given up.
Does Okada quit immediately after Japan is 0-3, or wait until he gets fired?

Judging from how we are playing at the moment Okada might just make it past this tounament.

Yawn.

Tsuru, what is up with the boys in Orange? I think if Okada is watching this game he will see the way to defend the Dutch is to play physical, tackle hard, and keep 5 men back. Not like Japan can do any of these things, but it seems to be working well for Denmark. And damn those horns are loud again. I wonder what it will be like for the Japan Cameroon game?

Every time I watch Japanese soccer team battling internationally, I wish that more over 180 cm Japanese participated the team. If so, Japan national soccer team would be stronger at least like Korean one. But unfortunately there is a tradition in Japan that those over 180 cm Japanese go baseball.

Don't bother, it's easier for Japanese to blame their failings on others. Instead, let's enjoy the coming rape job Cameroon are set to deliver. After Australia's epic failure last night, I really need a good laugh or six.

Watching the Japan/Cameroon game.

Japan appears to be better players technically, but they are already seeming to be getting beat up physically.

Yeah, credit where it's due, they're making Cameroon work for it. I'm kind of hoping we'll get a stray rhino wandering onto the field or something to liven up the game though. I just don't "get" soccer *sighs*

Indeed it was. You know how sometimes in american footbal or hockey you can feel how a play is developing and can just feel a score is coming? That's how I felt about that goal.

Ok how much did the Japanese pay those two defenders to go for the ball and leave Honda all alone? I liked his reaction though, fist pump and nothing crazy, didn't go sliding like Steven Gerrard of England after his goal. Very classy. This second half is going to be nerve wracking for all the Japanese fans.
