The Clubhouse... Shinjuku 3-chome.

But tis now a distant memory:

The Clubhouse has ceased operation as of December 31, 2008 after being forced out by the landlord.

Thank you for your patronage over the years and we look forward to seeing you again.

Wow, thanks a lot. Any ideas on a good replacement bar in Tokyo, especially in Ikebukuro and Shinjuku?

Depending on what sport you're into, there's 23 in Takadanobaba. Good if you're into basketball.

I don't know why my posts aren't posting, but I'll try this again. Iraira thanks for the place. I googled it in English and Japanese and I couldn't find a website. Is there one?

Also, are there any other recommended gaijin bars, but not really gaijin bars, in Tokyo that have decent girls as well. I did Roppongi and I am done with that. I want to make some friends and talk to some girls. I don't mind a small place just as long as I can have a good time. Thanks!

Thanks Iraira. I hope you didn't get that way from living in Tokyo. I am excited and I am looking forward to meeting new people and discovering new places. Any other ideas?! :)

The Tokyo Gaijins seems to be fairly active.
http://www.tokyogaijins.com/
I haven't been to any of their events mainly as I have been here forever and have already established my social network. But they seem harmless enough. They do arrange lots of out of Tokyo trips/events which is a good way for you to experience things outside of Tokyo that when you are new can be a bit daunting.

Great to see you are so enthusiastic. Welcome aboard. Don't let the old crusty curmugeons around here make you bitter and twisted. Give yourself a few years before you become truly fucked. :)

Thanks GGirl. They seem like they have some decent events. Yes, I am excited. I absolutely loved where I was in Japan before, but I have some opportunity here I can't say no to. I plan on creating the same excitment here in Tokyo. :D

I had a good time, but I really didn't find a gaijin friendly kind of place. I can speak Japanese, but I would like to find a nice gaijin place where I can call my own.
