Take (or the actor playing the role of "Take") doesn't seem to understand that it isn't just only that some Japanese behave like inconsiderate a-holes when they think that no one is looking, they behave like inconsiderate a-holes when they think that no one they know or no one with authority above them is looking. Which makes them pretty much completely normal as human beings....big insult to Take.

Take (or the actor playing the role of "Take") doesn't seem to understand that it isn't just only that some Japanese behave like inconsiderate a-holes when they think that no one is looking, they behave like inconsiderate a-holes when they think that no one they know or no one with authority above them is looking. Which makes them pretty much completely normal as human beings....big insult to Take.

Yep. Only rules that come from inside one's own family/school/company/group apply. Everyone else can go to hell. Since that's how it is within Japanese society it's really no surprise that they don't play well on the international stage. I understand, but it still pisses me off, partly because it's so blindly self-destructive.

As for Take, I'm trying really hard to give the guy the benefit of the doubt (jeez I hope it's a guy ... *shudder*, just had a horrible thought), because he does have those occasional flashes of intelligent insight. But at other times it's pretty clear he's just shit-stirring. I'm think I'm beginning to lose the will to play along.
