As for how many reddies, I believe it is weighed based on the number of post the the snotter has, so if you offend Taro expect to drop several thousand points, if however the snotter is newcomer the term butterfly fart is apt.

Y'know, what I'm trying to understand is why we (and I'm included in this) care what others truly or momentarily feel about our posts. Sure, there is some acceptance thing playing a factor for the green snot collectors, and a standing alone against the norms of society for the red snot collectors.
Perhaps this needs to be rephrased: do the red snot collectors get upset when they receive green snots, or have they been so entrenched in the dark side as to feel nothing but pity for anyone who would agree with them? Or is there a way to be completely neutral, and have no reputation at all? That might be best, as no one can predict or fault you for your response to anything. I quote what I overheard a Dungeons & Dragons nerd say once when I was in the second hour of a mushroom frenzy, "It s really to your benefit if your warrior is chaotic neutral, as you can screw any female character that comes along and still cavort with pure spirits that exist in the woods."

It's easy to figure out the red and green ones. It's those slimy white wads that look like a richocheted wank off the loo wall that I can't figure out. I get about two of those a week. I think they could be love notes from IraIra, but he never signs them, so I don't know.

I think the reputation feature was supposed to be a community policing measure. If an individual got too out of line, I'm sure a penalty can be programmed into the system where they can't post for a certain amount of time, or maybe they can't start new threads or even so far as banned from the board for a certain period.

In my case, I don't assume those who give me red snot are wrong. I actually think about WHY and WHO gave it. Sometimes it's valid, other times it isn't.
