The video above shows the tight twists and turns of Irohazaka in Nikko. The speed limit is 40km/h but most drivers don't get above 30km/h. One motorcyclist has just been arrested for doing 102km/h on his 1000cc bike. He was on a straight stretch, where the road widens to a two-car width, but it was still some feat.

Some of those bus drivers must be shithouse... I've never been on a bus having been jammed at corner 44. T_T

Though I did see some dumb ass overtaking the bus on the way up once, in his little Capacino on the corner, much to the upset of the bus driver, who was informed people of the idiots antics over the PA.
About five corners later the Capacino was half through a guard rail and the driver on the side of the road on his phone.
The bus driver was much happier, and also let us know his opion on the driver of the red car. ^_^'

Yes, but ON THAT ROAD, it is significant.

If his average speed was 100 KPH, it would be insane. But doing 100 on a straight in a bike that does 0-100 in a few seconds technically isn't that hard.

Scariest bus trip I've ever taken was in Korea. Went from Seoul to Kyongju (sp?) by bus... First (and thankfully only) time I have been on a bus that hydroplaned...

I had a 400cc motorbike while I ws in Japan and me and my Jap buddies often went way over 100km/h on 'straights', luckily we never got busted. One of the J riders labelled us 'team violator' - which I presumed to mean team speed ihan.
