US pretzel chain Auntie Anne's will open its first Japan store near Ikebukuro Station East exit on the 8th of November. The nation's political leaders will presumably already have been warned against going there.

I hope 'Auntie Anne's' will be like 'Anna Miller's' but with bigger tits... or, by the sound of the name, the 'MILF-version'.

Maybe it's an east coast thing. I just remember seeing it in every mall, they are usually very small and in random locations away from the food court.

Me neither. But I haven't lived in the US in 5 years so I thought maybe it was a new chain.

It has...

The butter dipped pretzel shops have been around since the early to mid 90's. There are a few different chains, Anne's just happens to be the most common on the east coast. Most adults would probably just wander past without noticing it. In the cold New England winter teens spend a lot of time in the malls like I did back in high school. Teens know every shop in their local mall.

Maybe it is like Jamba Juice or something. I've been out of the loop for so long that I don't give a shit anymore but let me know when Taco Bell arrives.

You are obsolutely right on and I'm right with you. I cuss out TB for all the junk they serve and then whenever I go on the US base at Yokosuka, or Yokota, it's one of the first places I go. My resident rice cooker occasionally goes into Taco withdrawal symptons and I gotta cart her ass over there as well......
Whatever!

Aunt Anne's-they have great Pretzels! Coming from West Coast Southern Cali where the weather is usually warm and dry, ironically, people love them, they are in most malls and people love them. The garlic flavored pretzel can't be beat! But they have many other flavors, let's hope they can bring Aunt Anne's throughout Japan.

To all you TB bashers Taco Bell is American Mexican, not traditional Mexican and does not try to be so, therefore to compare it to authentic Mexican food is really not an accurate assessment. Having said all that, if Soul, Korea can have Carl's Jr./Hardee's then by all means they need to bring Taco Bell to Japan. 7 layer burrito, hmmmmmm!

Lastly, Japanese love Juice, right. Jamba Juice would really fit in Japan. I think Japanese suffer from a lack of fiber anyway, this is one way of getting there fiber and some veggies in a delicious drink. JJ is probably the best, healthy and very, very addictive. Most of them at least to my knowledge are in California, don't know if they expanded beyond that.

Sorry to shove it in bro, but if you're going to sink your teeth into something really juicy, how about this. Japan could learn a thing or two about how to make one of these properly! :D
