Ouch! This could hurt...I'm trying to train myself to becoming China's bitch, because I fear it's the world's fate in the 21st century.
With all the U.S. Treasury bonds the Chinese are buying, I wouldn't want President Obama's praise of Liu to be too profuse.
And I don't fancy Japan's claims on the Senkakus getting too far in the immediate future, either....(added the last part just to make the post Japan-related; this issue won't be solved for decades at the earliest).

With regards to this issue,
the Chinese government can choke on it's rice for all I care.

Recently they seem to be even more paranoid and quick to take offense than usual.
Makes one wonder if something is going on . . .
Never criticize anyone until you've walked several kilometres in their shoes.
Because

1. You're now several kilometres away; and

2. You've got their shoes.

Meanwhile human rights watchers report that his wife has been placed under house arrest after having the audacity of commenting about her imprisoned husband's Nobel Peace prize to foreign media.

On the subject of choking, I got something else the CCP can choke on....

Some are speculating the rise of Nationalism within the government or the military. It's not surprising that they'd take offense to this though.

The Nipponesers are really tut-tutting the Chinese, but I'm not convinced this place is any more democratic. They've internalized taboos here to a degree that would make the CCP cum in their collective pants. Suggest the J-monarchy be abolished and watch your dissent get stifled like a mofo.
