Charisma Man's PR man

The Japanese seem to see Westerners through some kind of filter. An obvious example was all the geeks I saw out there walking around with beautiful Japanese girls on their arms. These guys were probably social misfits in their home countries, but in Japan the geek factor didn't seem to translate.

This guy has it backwards. In USA it's more like American girls have "some kind of a filter" - the most respected qualities are Physical Size and Lack of Intelligence. If you're not Big and Stupid, life doesn't have much to offer here.

I haven't read the comics much, but I would think that Western Woman would be more of a suitable target. It's tough enough being a gaijin male in Japan, but being a woman must be at least twice as difficult:
    Clothes don't fit
    Unequal treatment (that's changing though)
    Invisibility on the family register

Ah yes but we are a minority within a minority so not really statistically significant.

Most of the women with kids you see around town are expat wives. There are very very few single professional FG chicks around for a few reasons. There is the stuff that every FG has to deal with with the double whammy of added discrimination and shunning from our male FG compatriots.. it does take a toll and most girls do leave. A few meet and marry here but it is a fraction of the number of guys that I know who have met and married their spouses here.

It is different for the guys.. I wouldn't go as far to say social misfits as the guys I know here are truelly great. But there seems to be the bonus of being like a fox let loose in a chicken coop and I can appreciate that being kind of fun.

Espcecially in these days of western PC correctness of companies where minority quota's and breaking the glass ceiling does seem to tip the scales away from the white male.. I have heard this complaint from a few friends. Correct me if I am wrong guys.

Is a "Charisma Man experience" the same thing as a "fucked gaijin moment"?
