I was looking for a screen 19xx*10xx in resolution... saw some LG SUperMegaZombTopBit38XYZ...

Check the goodwill web price, around 16000 yens
Goodwill store price... 19000 yens...
Amazon price... 14000 yens...

Ok the shop, have some hot mamas in the sale team... but not enough to justify 5000yen markut for just an hello/goodbye...

Not even checked rakuten or kakaku yet... I don't even like this screen...
Marion Marechal nous voila !

I hate the 1920x1080 factor. 1920x1200 all the way... Have two 24" displays on this box that run at 1920x1200 and that extra 10% vertical screen resolution is a big plus in my books. Widescreen is nice and all, but chopping 10% more off the vertical sucks.

The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Read an article in the latest MaximumPC about what's on the horizon for 2011. Apparently it's the year of the LED display.

For myself, I'd love to have an HP ZR30w. Resolution is 2560 x 1600. But it's so bloody expensive, like US$1300 expensive 8O

I agree with FG Lurker about the 1920x1200 monitors. Pay a bit more, get a lot more... see http://www.pricewatch.com/browse/monitors/1920x1200 They're more money but damn they're nice looking!

I've got two LG 24"s running at 1080p, both TN panels but the new Dell 1900x1200 24" blows them both away with its IPS panel. Yes for games its not the quickest screen (5ms) but there's no bleed, and the clarity is awesome.

I'm still waiting for that curved 42" screen to go down in price (currently somewhere north of $6000) or just give up and go with a super-duper hi-def projector. Come to think of it why not two projectors, aimed at the same spot and focused for awesome color and clarity. Might as well make it two IMAX projectors.

I have two Dell 2407 displays. They aren't perfect but they suit my needs well.

As I am once again doing more database design I'm pondering getting two more to have a 2x2 setup, but I'll probably stay with what I have for now.

I'd like two 30" displays actually but the best my aging T60 notebook can manage is four 24" 1920x1200. Only three DVI ports though so one would need to be analogue. :(

You may end creating a 3D effect, worth trying.
