Fuji TV

Postby terebi_fanatic » Thu Dec 09, 2010 2:27 am

Hello everyone

Sorry for the silly question, but I can't find this anywhere.

Is there a way to get Fuji TV in North-America? I know it's not possible by satellite (trust me on this, you'd need to drill a whole in earth's inner core to get it).

I've seen some streaming sites, but the quality is pretty bad.

Strange thing is that when you go to their official site, it shows the global map and signals being sent all over the world (including close to where I am).

I know they rent some programming to some local stations in NY, but that's not really what I'm looking for.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
P.S: If anyone wants to know, you can still get NHK through the Dish network, but it's pretty boring stuff I heard

Not really a specific answer, but if they broadcast in clear, usually a C-band satellite dish, some sat coordinate and a receiver box will be enough. I think minimum size for a c band dish is around 3 meters thought...

thank you, i'll look into it.

I'm already watching keyhole, but as you said about the quality...

What's your favorite show? I'm looking for the ones where they don't speak much. My Japanese is not good enough for shows like "onedari muscats"

Airports bookshops sometimes have in their english magazine selection newspaper whose only topic is aboot worldwide satellite TV and service reception. It's a little weird, I can't remember the exact title (and can't find the one I bought few years ago). But they have all data needed aboot which channel are carried by which stalitte with matching band and frequencies. With also equipement tests, setup tips, and a lot of other things that you never thought could be put in a monthly publication...
