When I read the "majored in fisheries as an undergrad student", I read it as past tense, meaning he is finished school now. They could have dropped the word "student" to make it a bit clearer...
Either way, it appears he is already on his way to surpassing Sakana-kun3 in the cool factor.

... it should be "has a BS in Fishheries" if he actually graduated.
