I'll tell you, taking a look at the drivel they are putting on TV this New Years it would drive someone to kill themselves. Tonight more than 6 hours with the science guy, then tomorrow 5 hours of"Downtown" and their stupid antics, or Pride. And of course Kohaku, which turns out to be the best of the junk. Why do Japanese put up with this crap. And the worst is the stuff that is aired on New Years Day. It makes my eyes bleed, it is so bad.

Jeus, don't you have a) a decent bar to head out to or b) Sky Perfect. I utterly avoid new year's terrestrial TV. I suspect they ramp up the stupidity factor as most people with a functioning brain are out of the country already.

Yes I have E2, but I also have a Japanese wife and two kids who think the stuff is funny, so what can you do. They monopolize both of the big screen TV's so I get yo watch slingbox on my laptop, but now that service is down. Aghhhh.

Put your foot down! Japanese shit on one TV and something interesting on the other. If they don't like it suggest they purchase their own TV...
