Image Japanese workers more tired of work than ever
Mainichi Shimbun, Japan - Aug 26
... an alarming survey by the Health, Labor and Welfare Ministry revealed Tuesday.

An unprecedented 72.2 percent of workers reported feeling at least a little weary because of their work, while 61.5 percent also said their professions stressed them out....

Women, at 75.7 percent, were more inclined to feel slightly or considerably tired because of their work than men at 70.1 percent.

Men, however, were more likely to feel strongly stressed by their job, at 63.8 percent against the 57.7 percent recorded by women

Japanese need to figure out the separation between home life and work life.. I think this concept has never been developed in Japan. Work is life and life is work, or so the thinking goes.
