Happy New Year 2011!

Postby FG Lurker » Sat Jan 01, 2011 4:16 pm

16:15 here in Japan and I don't see a thread for this yet... Wishing all fellow FGs a great 2011!

OK, it's been 2011 for almost 21 hours already, and as far as I can tell the economy and political situation haven't improved one bit yet! What's taking so long!

My warmest wishes to everyone. Be healthy. Be happy. May the new year give you a better view of your dreams and bring your goals within reach.

Enjoy the journey.

i'll settle for "not completely shitty" and take it from there. yeah, it can always be worse so i count my blessings and go into this year very guardedly optimistic that it'll be better. i'm looking forward to burning my 2010 calendars and pissing on the ashes.

We watched the ball drop on my imac -I can't climb the loft ladder to get to the tv or our futon (sleeping on the couch), but my Percoset fix put me in a party mood anyway.

At midnight they always play John Lennon's "Imagine" followed by Sinatra's NY, NY which get's me a little sniffley. (I'm not a patriotic American at all but I am a fiercely loyal NYer!)

Oh, shit! Another new year!
I suppose I'll just waste it reliving the past again. At least it beats worrying about the future.

Seems like everyone on here has been saying that same shit for the past 2 (or 3+) years now.

How often do you wish for that?
