According to the Japan Times, this was their third accident in three months. A maintenance worker lost three of her fingers fixing one of the drop rides last month, and a young girl on the ground was hurt by a part falling off the big roller coaster the month before that.

Media reports have described him as weighing over 130kg and the girl supervising the ride apparently only gave the safety bar a visual confirmation rather than a hands-on check to ensure it was secure.

I had a similar problem in Disney land!
They said that because my chest was too big (i work out) that they wouldn't be able to close the safety bar and therefore i couldn't ride!
And this was a new ride too! How could they be so stupid!?
What were they thinking when they were making that ride? That only tiny Asians would ride it?
So me and another guy (fat Jp guy) had to sit and wait while the people we were with got on and enjoyed the ride....
