A normal person would be appreciative that someone helped them stop looking like a dolt in public.

I'm not too sure the "god among men" moniker is accurate, but the Dunning–Kruger effect sure seems to be in play.

We won't talk about your inability to punctuate properly. I think you do very well for someone who is not a native English speaker.

Good question. I worship at the Temple of Greji. It's a Confucian thing. I have to respect the elderly. ;)

I hear that. Respect for the elders is sadly in decline amongst youngsters these days...they should really kneel before me and show some "respect"...:D

You see...

Some people have huge problems with the use of the verb "reading" when used to describe people looking at pictures in comic books...

And I think they are quite right...

You don't read pictures, you look, stare, glance at them...

Since you mention that, would slobber and drool be transitive or intransitive in this light?

Hey Tokyo Joke, give it up already.
If you've got nothing worthwhile to post on FG, restrain yourself.
No one is interested in your attempts at bumping the number of views on your really pathetic YouTube channel.
You've got way too much time on your hands between eikawa lessons evidently - get a hobby or two.

Well I got a special message just for you at my channel if you care to actually watch the video, and you get a very special mention friend, to all of the people in Tokyo Land.

But I see the hidden anger in you, from your humble origins as a high school dropout to the grand heights of being an ESL in Tokyo, something I never did and wouldnt have to do, I started here in banking before you were even born, so I don't deny you have traveled a long way friend.

So enjoy your shochu with your ESL TTTokyolios, while I drink my fine Suntory - and don't you forget to set the alarm for Monday morning classes Mr Big, because I worry about you friend.

Cheers. :tounge:

Take care TTTokyolios.

Well friend, aint it funny that you spent all that time and energy doing stuff I said aint worth #### here. Well done.

tone wrote:it also goes to show the value of a "bullshit" college degree. I got one also, taught english as a youngin 21-23, and had to come back to Seattle and hustle my ass off developing a skill. i can't imagine if i had been at a school i loved and stuck around for 10 yrs.

See? It sounds like if you had listened to my advice in the link, you would have worked yourself out 10 years earlier. But at least you picked yourself up after your scrapes and experiences here.

What do you do now for a crust apart from lashing out with bad grammar against strangers who are trying to help you?

I can't decide if this is trolling or spam, or a combination of the two, but I'm pretty sure I can smell SPAM (possibly accented with the faint odor of Troll-du-Jour).

Mods:The majority of TOKYO JOE's posts in this and other threads contain links to his podcast site, statements urging people to visit his site, or both. I think the agenda is pretty clear. Other than personal involvement I don't see much difference between this and a spambot (except that spambots are much more intelligent).

In the meantime ... another addition to my Ignore list.

You have got to be kidding. If this is true then TOKYO JOE is truly a TOKYO JOKE. An out-of-work eikaiwa teacher lying about his past and claiming to teach people how to succeed in Japan? HAAAAAAAR!! Classic.

Why on earth does someone who's generally disparaging other forum members deserve a break?

No friends, I appreciate your interest but if you listened to the first podcast you would know who I am by now. I reveal the real Tokyo Joe there so would encourage everyone to listen. I wish I were 45 again but sadly not, I retired in my 30s but that was over 2 decades ago after working in banking and with a boutique professional firm here and I was lucky because my family has been associated with this country for many years even before I was born and first came here.

I appreciate the professionalism/of some of you ESL folks out there but never had the privilege or time to join your ranks and I hear that you are doing things very tough at the moment so you have my sympathy so I have brodcast a few pointers especially for those folks wanting to be successful here in Tokyo or for other folks like you who are just wanting to survive here in Tokyo but doing something other than the great privilege of teaching English which I respect as your decision after your liberal arts education - after all its a natural step in a way so you should be proud.

You forgot the part about your dick being 12 inches long and using it on various models, idols, AV stars, etc., since banging chicks is how most of us measure success in life, but you have a podcast. Hey, congrats, that's.....just.....great.

Why do Rob Pongi and the other have to pay for advertisement while this guy make our browsing miserable (to the point were I miss Mc Tojo) AND at the same time advertise non stop for his podcasts ?
