Foreign Crime Down Again

Postby Mulboyne » Thu Feb 24, 2011 11:39 am

The National Police Agency has announced that 19,820 crimes by foreigners were recorded in 2010, a fall of 28.8% compared with 2009. The cases involved a total of 11,866 individuals, down 10.5%. This continues the declining trend seen since 2004-5. Thefts and robberies were down 36.3% and now stand at half the level seen 10 years ago. In particular, the NPA says it has successfully cracked down on organized car stealing rings. There was also a 22.5% reduction in overstayers and other visa violations. One area did see a notable rise: 471 people were found to be in fake marriages which was 25.6% up from last year and the police believe there are more cases out there. Chinese made up the largest group of offenders with a total of 4,659. Koreans were next with 1,399 followed by 1,128 Filipinos, 798 Vietnamese and 728 Brazilians.

This data is complete. It fails to reflect the felony stops recorded by the poor, overworked, J-fuzz, for the heinous crime of "Bicycling as an FG."

The data is also incomplete in that it fails to document the most heinous of all crimes: the plague of broken hearts inflicted on the J-female population
GUILTY! GUILTY! Off with their offending apendages!

We did it again. Number of Americans arrested for murder. ZERO!
PARTY TIME!
(Well, none ARRESTED...)

5 Americans (out of 52,149 registered, plus tourists and military?) were arrested in 2010 for violent crimes (murder, armed robbery, arson, rape)
So, that's under 0.01% of Americans.

3 Brits (out of 16,597 registered plus tourists) and that still ranks them in the Top 10 of violent gaijin nationalities!
Still under 0.02% of Brits, but last year the figure was zero, Brits were never violent in Japan in 2009! But this year - twice as violent as Americans.
What caused this sudden surge? J police must crack down on this Brit Violence Crime Wave!
Statistics never lie. Especially the ones that are so small that they vary by over 100% from year to year. ;)

Canada never makes the "Top 10"

Meanwhile 5503 violent crime arrests in Japan with a population of 120 million makes out as a bit under 0.005% arrest rate for Japanese.
But who knows what the actual violent crime rate is, with all the "suicides".

Anyway, more proof that Anglophones are (statistically) as safe as Japanese people.

On the flip side, how many FG were murdered, "killed in self-defense", or "committed suicide by repeatedly stabbing themselves" in 2010?
Anyone got a tally?
