He is doing pretty well to be running with all this get up while live blogging, twittering etc.

I know him from work stuff and he is a uber geek but a really nice guy. There is another guy behind the scenes who is a really nice guy too. Steve Nagata. These guys are total apple fanbois.

It is kinda fun to watch especially as he is doing so well to be talking and running and making jokes in the middle of a marathon.

Currently I am sitting in my jarmies, drinking coffee and about to tuck into a big brunch with eggs and bacon.

I enjoy running. I jog everyday, from the genkan out to the car. When I return home, I immediately jog from my car back to the genkan..

If he can compete in the marathon with all those gadgets and the cameras following him then i am impressed, no matter how ridiculous it may look. I'm currently training for a half marathon and i can't imagine having to take all that into account while competing. I have enough trouble with the forward movement part :P

How do you get from the genkan to the sofa?
That's gotta be a problem after all that jogging.

I suspect he just collapses in the genkan...
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking

He was using WiMax flat-rate wireless router from KDDI. And yeah, all those flat-rate data plans are "best-effort" (lame-effort).

I generally use a Kirin Obin in my left hand and the TV controller in my right. They make excellent crutches and are always close at hand....

Joseph Tame completes Tokyo marathon covered in iPhones
Metro.co.uk | 27th February, 2011
Technology-heavy marathon runner Joseph Tame has completed the Tokyo marathon while strapped up to four iPhones, an iPad, and Android phone and a heart rate monitor - and streaming it all live to the internet.
Joseph Tame, as live-streamed over one of his four iPhones
British-born Tokyo resident Tame - who said he was hoping for a time of around five and a half hours - completed the run without suffering any major technological or physiological breakdowns.
He ran the 26 miles wearing a device he christened the iRun - which held four iPhones that could rotate around him, an Android phone, and an iPad on his chest displaying tweets from his supporters. He also head a heart rate monitor and a weather monitor - all broadcasting live video, his location and data back to his website.
