Yup, but if I was in Tokyo I wouldn't be going anywhere due to worry of radiation. We usually have a week or two of food in the house so that probably wouldn't be a big issue. If things still hadn't stabilized with incoming food shipments by the time our food supplies ran out I'd have to consider something.

Edit: Should add, there are plenty of sheeple in Kansai who are freaking the fuck out and want to leave now. Idiots.

Any FGs leave yet?

I'm a bit surprised by the US evacuation news. Is there something bad happening up there?

Yeah, the Yanks have apparently been drinking too much Volvic or Evian and it's turned 'em into panicking surrender monkeys.

It's only SJ that turned French.. the rest of us (Greji, Cptn, Taro, Ira, and myself) are still here.

From what I have heard Disney is a total mess. Tons of liquefaction happened and probably damage to some buildings/rides as well. They're closed for the next few days in the very least but it could take longer depending on how things go.

Apparently enough Americans want to leave that the military has arranged flights to get them out... Like I said, too much Volvic or Evian. ;)

I'd be up for conservation if it would actually do any good. I wonder if they will ever harmonize the grids here... I doubt it, pretty much an impossible task at this point.

I can send you beers, cigs, and condoms by takyubin (probably get there by summer). They seem to be available everywhere even though TP, water, and tissues are out of stock. Who fuckin needs those necessities anyway?

With 2 plants out, might as well try to build the new one at 60HZ...

in other news according to Kyodo (soon to vanish) Tepco stop construction of a new plant in OMA.

I don't smoke, but I could pour the beer into the condoms and throw them in the general direction of Fukushima. Probably about as effective as what they're doing at the moment.
