Well I was a day away from getting some (more), but the earthquake happened and since this particular lady friend lives a decent distance away (and in the area with the most radiation), I've basically been told to wait till things settle down.

ANGERRRRRRRR.

I am aware of the triviality of my situation.

(Im currently accepting donations. :bukkake: )

And the reason I didnt get the re entry at the time is because I applied for permanent residency (yes thats right, FG for life) and didnt want to pay twice for re entry. (once for my current visa and again for the permanent visa)

And i wasnt planing on leaving Japan this spring.

I didn't pay twice when I got PR. They told me at immigration when I got the nice new PR sticker in my passport that I had time left on my current re-entry permit, and that I didn't need to get a new one until it expired, unless I fancied paying extra by getting a new one while I still had time on the old one. I thanked them for the advice, and used the permit right to expiry.

Japan has upgraded the threat level of the Fuckyshima Nuke Plant from 4 to 5 in their press conference report to the IEAE at 6pm today. On the international scale of 1 to 7, Level 5 is equal to 3 Mile Island. :(

My local supermarket has no bottled water as it's all been shipped to the quake zone. I tell ya, I just about bailed on Japan at that point, and I don't even buy bottled water! [/sarcasm]

IATA: Most Japanese airports have 10 days of jet fuel supplies remaining.

Guess what: that's a lot, last winter the 2 main Parisian airport simply ran out of fuel because of the snow... Here with 10 days to act... even a guy with few donkeys might be able to ressupply them properly...

The international media's gonna have a field day with that one if they do run out. I can see the headlines now: "NO WAY OUT!"

The UK government got similar advice to that in the presentation above. Then their advisor changed his mind.

[edit] confirmed, it's her

Denied it seems, so I sent her a nice little mail telling the ungrateful whore to fuck off ;) Please kindly distribute her mail as much as you can, I'm sure she'll appreciate it!

...if any of you care, part of my interview from Frost's Los Angeles radio show on sunday was available so I uploaded it here:

http://www.chokonen.com/frost.mp3

Talkin' bout bunch of So Cal toll lane BS until he gets back to Japan, interview part starts at 49:59

Obviously a few days old but the shit I said is pretty accurate to the situation now.

Would have plugged the forum but you know...the name isn't radio friendly.

And just when you say this, CNN tweet that:

CNN wrote:[9:03 a.m. ET Friday, 10:03 p.m. Friday in Tokyo] Toyota's popular Prius hybrid car may be in short supply in the coming months, Time reports. The car's batteries are made in a factory near Sendai while the vehicle itself is assembled near Tokyo. Although both plants were not damaged in the quake, Toyota does not know when production can resume because of the reduction in power supplies and rolling blackouts now imposed in the affected areas. Time, citing Autodata, says there were 18,000 Priuses available in the U.S. at the beginning of the month.
