Man drowns wife, mom-in-law by driving car off pier
Mainichi Shimbun, Japan, Sept. 1, 2003
AKITA -- A man was arrested Monday for drowning his wife and her mother by plunging a car they were riding in into the sea last year in an alleged bid to receive life insurance benefits, police said.
Toshio Hosoya, 65, an unemployed man ... admitted during questioning Sunday that he had deliberately plunged the vehicle into the sea... :x
