a few more useful words that are worth memorizing for newbies
cure-chiryo cold-samui a cold- kaze (not to be confused) infection was in the list as 'densen' you can build on that as follows Is it contagious?- Densen shimasu ka? taion- temperature (in list) taionkei- thermometer fever-netsu fever and temperature can kind of be used interchangeably in English but I don't think they're synonymous in Japanese so be careful hai-lung (in list) haien- pnuemonia vomit- modosu period (time of menstration)- seri sanitary napkins- seritai or in katakana: tampakusu menstration- gekkei
The skin doctor I went to see was a woman. I got the feeling that I coulda shagged her anytime I wanted to make a move. If I had just asked the right questions.

I will not abide ignorant intolerance just for the sake of getting along.
