We civilized people do know that one of main features of Chinese and Korean is to enjoy others' unhappiness or to have no single hesitations to do it.

Takechan, that's about as close to a 'welcome back!' as you can expect.

Thank goodness for that.
I was beginning to think that maybe I was the only one here who couldn't make head or tail of Take's post.

As I walked alongside a stream in my portion of inaka today, I noticed one section that was used as a dumping spot for all kinds of crud (seriously, who throws out a bunch of round fluorescent light bulbs in the stream FFS?). If I ever catch a moron dumping, he'll be needing the help of a medical professional to extract the light bulbs from where they definitely don't shine...

I've got to wonder why the farmer(?) in the photos there would rather bury his old kei van in the field (and end up polluting the eco-system with the gas and other fluids that he no doubt didn't drain beforehand), than cough up 10,000 - 20,000 yen have it disposed of properly.
Then again, TIJ.

Is it your mission to be as racist as possible? At least try posting rants that make some kind of sense.

There is a bit of story behind this. Years ago a local guy was booted out of his house by his mother over his drinking problem. He owned that piece of land and built a small shack to live in. Over the years he gathered quite a bit of junk. After he died the family ended up with the mess. Last year they carted away a bunch of shit and a few other kei cars that were there. For some odd reason they left the one in the pic. His brother, the one in the pic, owns a construction company and has just retired. Yesterday he gave my father in law eight tons of crushed rock and covered the driveway for free. Today he buried a car.

The land the car is now under is not used for anything, it's just a dirt lot. The land behind the tree is mine that I currently use for rice.

I prefer to think of the disposing of a body at sea as honoring our evolutionary heritage, and returning to the sea from whence we came....sometimes in separate plastic bags. Advice: get two-ply bags, some of those pointy rib cage bones can tear right through a one-ply bag, especially after buzz sawing, then grandma's rug gets all bloody, and you really can't use the old "The cat had her period on the rug, G'ma" excuse more than twice.
