Yeah, no kidding, I dug into this a while ago. You can check the amount of psuedo on any cold medicine, there is an upper limit per serve but no limit on how much you can buy.

Given population density and therefore shop density, even without smurfing, going all DIY anyone with a mind to develop a habit could easily source all they need, in japan and legally.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mfat) says it has been in contact with a heavily pregnant New Zealand woman and her partner being held in a Japanese jail accused of smuggling methamphetamine into the country.

The woman, 25, and the man, 26, were arrested last month after allegedly being caught with two kilograms of methamphetamine with a street value of $2m in New Zealand.

The drugs were allegedly found in their luggage on their arrival from Thailand at Tokyo's Narita International Airport.

An Mfat spokeswoman told NZPA today the couple had been contacted by the NZ embassy in Japan and offered consulate advice.

"We are also in touch with the families back in New Zealand."

The pregnant Auckland woman and her partner are among the rising number of New Zealanders caught smuggling drugs into other countries for "a bit of extra cash".

I know you are just kidding Wu, but Shabu is not that easy to make in tightly controlled countries like Japan. First, it is hard to get ephedrine, which is the main precursor for making meth. Any attempt to import it in any recognizable form will get your dick slapped fight into the dust.

The next problem is that a meth lab smells to high heaven and if not reported directly by neighbors, the cops/narc's noses will lead them right to the doorstep.

This is why the tatooed boys with the missing fingers outsource most of their shabu lab work to North and South Korea and other parts of SEA.
