Hollywood Walk of Fame sidewalk stars are not awards or honors but paid PR stunts?

If so, does that mean the stars handed out to the stars are really of
no value? Since their studios paid for the entire star award ceremony
and sidewalk star as a photo opp to promote a new film coming out, and
the stars in no way are "awards" or ''honors''? -- unless one calls
paid publicity stunts as awards and honors?

Does the media cooperate with Hollywood studios reporting on the
sidewalk stars every two weeks without telling readers what it really
going on here?

And main question: did YOU know these stars were paid for 12 months in
advance and set up to coincinde with a major release of a new film, as
Peneliop Cruz getting her star last month just before PIRATES 4 opens
worldwide and her pic will be in newspapers FREE OF CHARGE as a great
pre-release photo opp?

I never knew this until 2010 when I read a DPA story that has never
been printed in the USA media...... Not one USA newspaper will print
the truth, although if you google Wiki entry on the Walk of Fame it
does say the stars are paid for to tune of 30 K and handed out twice a
month as paid PR stunts.

Is nothing sacred anymore?

It's not just entertainment....the whole mainstream media is nothing but a propaganda tool for the Corporatocracy that runs the government. Japan or the USSA...same thing.
