This clip reminded me of the original Survivors TV show from Britain in the 1970s...quick synopsis: 99% of the world's population is wiped out by a virus and society reverts to standards akin to medieval times. Cities plagued by diseases like cholera and domestic dogs gone wild take over the cuntryside, making all Britain something like the Fukushima Forbidden Zone...Sound like a premise for Yokoso Tohoku?

Ok, so being the usual smartass that I usually are I just understood that 'survivors' WUZ the titul of the show.

Got the first episode of the original TV show, same kind of ambiance (old school Beeb TV shows) as Doomwatch. And unlike the Triffids, the 2008 remake sounds quite cool too...

I don't understand how I managed to miss this show as I follow horror/dystopian movies shows news as much as pr0n news.

Thanks a bajilion times guyz... the ideal show to watch while hiding under my desk between my survival gear and emergency food stocks...

(the remake have been heavily... patronized by Audi as usual... the scene with the rampaging R8 in the 1st episode are hillariously ridiculously out of place...)
