
Sony to release new DVD recorders with high-capacity HDD

TOKYO, Japan - Sony Corp. said Sept. 8 it will release four new models of its DVD player/recorders from Oct. 21, two of which are equipped with high-capacity hard-disk drives (HDD). The RDR-HX8 model (in photo), equipped with a 160-gigabyte HDD, is capable of recording up to 204 hours
