Completely missed it...was on the elliptical thingie at the gym or might have been on the toilet (which despite eating a grapefruit for breakfast, was a low magnitude temblor with no associated volcanic activity, such as a pyroclastic flow).

Nothing here but for some times now I think I feel some micro shaking day in day out... especially when i'm lying down.

So either I got me a PTSD, my internal ear is all-a-fookedup or there is some slow-mo going on. One thing making me think it's them tectonic plates and not the booze is the fact that the motion is always sort-of North-South which is the natural motion direction for earthquakes in this town... or at least building...
(which is bit troublesome since the floor layout is shaped like a mirrored L and the long part is E-W, leaving the narrow side N-S on a ground listed as easily liquefiable)

With the way the italian legal system works I fully expect these guys to get 20 - 40 years in prison for killing Meredith Kercher.

Apple pie? Listen Coligny, I know what they say but don't burn yourself ;)

New apartment definitely feels safer than my last place. I just happened to be sitting down when it hit and it was far less alarming than the shaking that went on when a truck passed by my old place.

Flan pie... but I wuz interrupted in the middle by me b... julie who needed a ride from job to party #1... So... I won't call it a marvel... plus my usual recipe was nowhere to be found so I took a ressembling one from marmitton.org and...

well...

This attempt is better to be forgotten...

(plus I have to blame that damned electric oven who's barely an improvement to cooking with the cars engine heat... Sidenote... I haven't seen anymoar in the last 20 year the bento craddle under cars hoods... French cars in the 70' always had a makeshift place to keep the food warm for lunch... And in some case like the Renault 20, who was a straight 4 version of the V6 powered Renault 30 there was enought room for a week worth of food... (or a 2nd engine...))

Yudo... LMAO! Yanks even backed that one!

Karate vs Taekwondo... at the end of the day... using only your hand or feet minus grappling tactics is not the way to go. Ryota Machida is a good example... taught Anderson Silva some new stuff that improved his stand up to the point where he plays with people...

Ms. Bishop's comments from her book are just... very easy to believe and funny... a brit in the dump. "... Korea are destined to gradual improvement with the aid of either Japan or Russia"

How did the japanese help with the population growth... they should read some of their textbooks for advice on that...

None the less... rep you on this... great find (or piece of work?)

Yes I FB'ed this too!

I always wonder about this. Potatoes, tomatoes, and corn are all from the Americas yet the way they PR them in Japan, you'd think they were traditional foods, native to Hokkaido.

(same for the "dragonfruit"...exotic fruit from tropical Asia it is not. It's the pitaya and from a fucking Mexican cactus)
