There is a white American guy in his 40s in Nagoya that rides around on the train during the late afternoon taking photos of young kids (under 12) from as many angles as he can get. Posts some of them on facebook but always covers them up with other photos of his kids. It's really creepy. The train staff have warned him a couple of times and have a video of him threatening the mother of one kids. I saw the video and he definitely has some martial arts training.

I agree. I used to live in Korea and there is no way on earth 10 years ago they would have tolerated that. The guy would've been jumped and tosssed up like a fruit salad. That was just horrifying, but if were there and would have witnessed that, I sure as he'll would have intervened and beat the shit out of him! What a fucking loser, the absolute lowest of scum! That being said, I find Chinese the most obnoxious when it comes to talking without any volume control or consideration for anyone around them. Every country has social retards that annoy everyone around them but i would give China the gold when it comes to lack of courtesy.

Went to UC Irvine, as a Bio major in the 1990s, so had that experience many times....when some of the old Vietnamese are drunk they sound like someone trying to talk and drink water at the same time. Still, I miss having a huge bowl of pho and cafe sua da for about $5.

Actually, as far as volume control is concerned with Chinese people, I think it's cultural. I went to a Chinese friend's house to work on her computer and anytime she was speaking Chinese to anyone in the house or on the phone, it sounded like she was yelling at them. Maybe you need to be loud to get all the proper tones...
