Funabashi Disrespected

It bugs me the way comments on the Economist about Japan are always negative, it's like Japan bashing is an international sport.

Might it be Ikea is an international name?

Indeed I prefer going to Lalaport at Toyosu nowadays. Inner road and coastal road near Funabashi seems to be forever jammed. The nearest train station, Minami Funabashi, the stop for both Lalaport and Ikea did not have elevator (not sure about now) and there are two different lines running there, so the train schedule is sometimes far in between, and some people are confuse with which train to take. Can't find much positiveness about there except maybe the properties there are slightly cheaper.

I don't recall reading a positive comment about Japan in the Brit media going back to watching a documentary about Expo 70 in Osaka.

As if the chav infested Limeys are in a position to be pointing fingers at others.

Is that what was once the "Funabashi Health Center"?
I remember going there once when I was about 13 yo. It was a huge recreation complex of spas, game rooms, eateries, and stuff generally geared to wasting time and relaxing on a day off. To this day the Funabashi Health Center is the first and only thing I think of when anyone mentions Funabashi.
