If only Japan had a committee full of self important fucks (most likely power-mad old men, who might even call themselves immortals) who took it upon themselves to tell everyone else how to speak their own language. They might even call it an "Academy" or something of that nature. That would allow the Japanese to protect themselves from the evil imperial influence of American English creeping into their vocabulary.

If only there were some other country out there with an "Academy" to guard its own sacred, God given langauge, that Japan could model itself on... Where might that be...?
