Useless PMs

Postby kagemusha » Wed Sep 28, 2011 3:28 pm

Once in a while the Japan Times publishes something readable...

Mere words on paper hardly do justice to the sheer awfulness of Japan's 92nd prime minister but we surely must try, if only to protect future generations from his florid historical window dressing.
My one regret in life is that I am not someone else.

Have to say that was a pretty good read and I there was quite a bit of info I didn't know. Unfortunately, as FG, all we can do it watch the horror as it happens.

BTW, does anyone know what "We Japanese" requirements are for PM? Could a FG become a Japanese national and become PM? (just imagine Debito running the cuntry haha)

Of course this is the JT we're talking about here.
Don't take for granted any of the "facts" presented by the various writers to back up their opinions.

I thought this photograph was apropos given the title of the thread.

Revolving door, musical chairs, substitute teachers, hired temps, whatever the analogy...a visual representation of Japan's leadership in comparison.

All cynicism aside, it is really laughable that as an industrialized democracy, Japan has had so many empty suits sitting in the big chair.

Actually, "industrialized society" is a near perfect description of Japan.

and it also explains why the PMs all do the same stupid shit... same reason why Sony keeps pushing out gaming systems that are hack friendly... they never fix shit. the PS3 is hackable, but not fully hackable... but it still doesn't mean that it is a good thing...

when will they run the harward and software patch for their PM's? Wait till sony fixes their shit first... then we might see an update on the PM technology they make...
