High levels of radiation in Setagaya?

Here's why:

Tokyo radiation scare turns out to be radium stored under house floor

What's interesting to me is, here's a bunch of bottles of radium under the floorboards of a house that've been there since before anyone can remember, emitting 600 µSv/h at the surface of the bottles, and the old lady who lived in the house from 1953 until February this year is about 90 years old.

It'll be interesting to see how many more cases like this turn up, now that more people than ever are running around with geiger counters.

Justified cynicism aside, without being alarmist, one might begin to feel legitimate concern if these readings become a common, widespread occurrence outside the so-called "danger zone" prescribed by the government.

That's pretty shitty of you Coligny, picking on us gizzers like that. Since you did that I changed my will and wrote you out of it. I'm leaving everything to the dood in the third cardboard hut from the end in the tunnel underneath Shinjuku station, except my schwanz which will be pickled and mailed to Noriko. However, you are welcome to the balance of my account at the sperm bank, if you so desire and I'm also willing my doberman to your cat...
