Qaddafi's death correctly predicted

Postby Russell » Fri Oct 21, 2011 10:10 pm

Year of death predicted in this 1987 sitcom:

This man was only 1 day late in predicting the end of the world for Qaddafi:

He had a Kim Il Jong cut going on. Quite fashionable among the politically detested leaders of the world. That large forehead real estate is quite useful and attractive as it reflects the light of the world which is obviously focused on these men.

I bet more than a few people got in some licks to his dome with some well placed kicks.

His ego was obviously too big for that fuggin' forehead. He could have taken the billions he stole and absconded somewhere and lived out his life with his bevy of female bodyguards.

The former dictator was known for his vanity--in March, a Brazilian plastic surgeon came forward with an account of a four hour cosmetic procedure he'd performed on Gadhafi in 1995. "He told me that he had been in power for 25 years at that time, and that he did not want the young people of his nation to see him as an old man," Dr. Liacyr Ribeiro told the AP. "I recommended a facelift, but he refused." Gadhafi received hair plugs and had fat from his belly injected into his face to counteract the appearance of aging. The operation occurred in the middle of the night in Gadhafi's compound in Tripoli. Though widely lauded in the Western media, I'm not really sure the "democratic revolutions" that have swept through northern Africa this year will produce the kinds of democracies that the West, particularly the Untied States, really wants.

True democracy in northern Africa and other Arab countries will almost invariably mean greater pressure on the U.S. and Israel.

Don't be surprised to see strongmen/dictators back in place within a few years...

Thanks for that link. I watched a documentary a bit ago about the revolution and his overthrow and had wondered what happened there. Sadly the same as many post-revolutionary countries.

(If any one is actually curious about the documentary I'll look up what it was, it was very good, made in Romania if I remember right.)

Romania: Twenty years after the overthrow of Ceausescu

At first reading... compared to what the few Romanian friends I have told me... (Throught the Renault-Dacia alliance) I found this article odd...

Then I checked the source:

World Socialist Web SitePublished by the International Committee of the Fourth International (ICFI)

I think... we can safely ignore their interpretation...

This and the fact that according to the Romanian fairy tales, all the older players stayed in power, while in case like Iraq or certainly Libya it will be the team B who will takover instead of all the family member of the former dictator...

Well, at least he can afford himself a personal freezer. All that money, and now he cannot take it with him. I am sure those western advisers of the new Libyan government will be happy to find creative ways to spend it.

Yup. Like I said he should have taken the money and run. Granted I'm sure much of the money would have been frozen, but out of 200 billion I'm sure he could have made away with one or two billion to keep him comfortably in hamburgers and hair plugs.

Now that you got the key words right, there is a video on Youtube showing how he gets a sharp object shoved up his asshole while he was still alive.

No, I am not posting the link. :puke:

Any Bammer fan boys who still think their genius should take credit for Qaddafi's demise?

Considering an American drone attack seems to have been instrumental in halting Gadaffi's convoy as it escaped from Sirte, it's not far fetched.
