This site is only for bashin Japan, the Japanese people and anything non-white-English? The only smart people and those with common sense are the English. You didn't know that?

Greji, POM? What's POM? Serious question. Piece of something and I am certain that "something" is not a good quality. :-)

Tremendous attempt, and you certainly get the essence of the word 100% correct! :D

The Australian English term "Pom" refers to someone from Britain, usually but not exclusively English. It's not necessarily derogatory, probably similar to the Merican limey, but is usually prefixed by words such as "bloody," "fucking," "lousy" or "whinging (moaning)," all used endearingly when Strayans refer to those from the Mother Cuntry.

POM is probably a derivation of POME (Prisoner of Mother England) which was supposedly on the clothes of convicts. I could look it up in Wiki but I can't be arsed. If you are interested, then google it.

As maraboutslim (why do I always read this name as a portmanteau of mara, an archaic Buddhist term for "penis" in Japanese, and botulism?) said...

To extrapolate, gaijin bashing extends to our self-professed super-star/stud, who's shown over many years of fatuous posting that he puts the Jack into jack-off, but we still love him (how could you not possibly do so?)

Thank god.. I thought I was the only one reading it that way all these years! I guess I must have a slight problem with dylsexia, but finally I noticed this year that the letters were in a diffferent order than I thought. I never figured out what the "mara" part meant, though, so thanks for enlightening us.

It was originally Marabout Slim, slim being one of the many nicknames I have been stuck with over the years. Currently my coworkers seem to prefer "bones" instead though. If I could change my user name to that, it'd suit me quite well I figure. (trivia: my real name is Richard)

i've owned lots of vintage cars and motorcycles, mainly italian, but the closest to ferrari was a dino coupe i had for a few years. rebuilt the engine in that one and boy did that little v6 sound great at 8000rpm! now all i own is a ford focus and a cyclocross bicycle, ha! (are you on ferrarichat, too?)
