surprised that you guys know this much... mind you, good menudo takes half a day to make (good menudo i said). plus you have to get some good tripe... but no one wants to do the work when they are drunk/hungover...

In-laws shop is weekday only, so if weekend than we would have to choose a different place.

Cost is really cheap for the area. Take out bentos are like JPY500, and lunch sets run under 1k. Everything is pretty much home made... no cardboard gyoza. Booze is also available.

Just spoke with wify, Friday is a no go cause it is my niece's elementary graduation ceremony...

Tomorrow is the only day this week we can do it at my place (no pun intended) or we will have to choose another venue for Friday.

I am ok either way, and we can always do another lunch date at wify's for us tokyoites.
