Honda has a device that uses that technology. I think they may have gotten the tech from Honda. Only reason I say that is that they illustration describing the while motion looks just like the one we had in Detroit when we were debuting the U3-X

Not that any no-gimp person should know, not wearing shoes while on a wheelchair is a big no-no in the rehab/medical community since the feet are the first get smashed (just as stupid as wearing flipflops on a Harley).
