Ask the REAL/TRUE/ONLY Doctor Who (Tom Baker) a Question!

Now for extra points, name the prono movie featuring full-frontal Dr. Who.

You're not thinking high-tech enough. The Tardis will have a gay A.I.

Without wanting to spend all day trawling the net's porno sites, my brief search only revealed plenty of full frontal nerdity when it came to Dr Who, so I give up!

I wonder if the new writers will change the name of the Darleks to Darlicks, and move their turret-mounted long eye lower down the casing !!!

This is as good a time as any to repost the Katy Manning (a.k.a. Jo Grant, the Doctor's assitant) Dalek pic.

i can only hope so. the cheesiness of the old shows made them great on many levels. when a giant "steel" door bounces because it is really just foam.. gotta love it

Is the old series available at all in Japan? Is it even out on DVD?

It will be cool to have more of the old DR Who as no-body gets it anymore, when I say "exterminate" into a fan.. ie dalek style.. /geek

BTW back to Daleks.. how did they kill people when they only had those little guns.. what were they shooting?

I was really forced into my appreciation of Dr Who as a kid as we only had one TV and my brother (4 years my senior) was alot bigger than me and always punched harder.... (ie no negotiation on the TV show selection)

BTW we now train Karate together and he still kicks my butt.

It's available in a cardboard box in my closet. The problem is the format: Betamax (proudly taped off of PBS during my junior high school years). Somehow I ended up with these tapes, but the player is either inside a landfill or in my parent's garage (not that there is much difference between the two). Happy to share if anybody has a betamax deck!

I think of Doctor Who in the same way as James Bond.. how many 007's have there been???

The similarities don't end there.. they both have interesting methods of transportation and use them to get themselves away just in the nick of time, have a pretty chicks as side-kicks, have interesting wardrobes, both are British and solve the universe problems by ridding it of baddies and other evil-doers.. but best of all - the bugger refuses to die!!

Transvestite comic Eddie Izzard will play the new Dr Who when the show returns to TV screens, according to former Time Lord Tom Baker.

Gotta love Tom.

That would be a genius casting decision! Eddie is one of the best comic talents of our time, and he'd bring a great personality to the Dr.

For anybody who may never haver heard (or seen) him perform, the two shows to check out are "Glorious" and "Dress to Kill." The video for his next tour after those, "Circle," is only available in the UK, so I've not seen it yet. His current tour, "Sexie," came to Seattle the week after I left to come back to Korea. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! :cry2:  (I will see him live one day....)

His film work tends to pale in comparison to his standup, mostly because he doesn't get to write it.
