Orgy! 400 Japanese male tourists and 500 Chinese prostitutes

Fury over Japanese orgy prior to key invasion date
People's Daily / (Beijing Time) Saturday, September 27, 2003
A hotel orgy involving nearly 400 Japanese male tourists and 500 Chinese prostitutes has sparked outrage on the mainland. People were angry both because of the scale of the incident and the sensitive timing - two days before the 72nd anniversary of the start of the Japanese army's occupation of Northeast China in 1931. ... the Japanese had attempted to raise their national flag at the hotel but to no avail.

I don't believe it

Postby cstaylor » Sat Sep 27, 2003 2:21 pm

Sounds too perfect to me. 400 HUNDRED Japanese in a hotel, each with at least one Chinese prostitute? Two days before a big anniversary of Japanese wartime atrocities? AND they tried to raise the hinomaru on foreign soil?

Just goes to show that the Japanese aren't the only ones in the area with a strangehold on propaganda.

Sane comments via the dottocomu.comblog...

The 400 or so men, aged between 16 and 37, flew into Zhuhai city in southern Guangdong province expressly for sex at the five-star hotel, according to the media reports.

On one of the nights the men are said to have had nearly 500 girls brought to serve them.

The incident, at a time when Chinese resentment against Japan is already very high, has prompted thousands of angry messages to be posted on the internet by Chinese users.

Many see it as a deliberate attempt to humiliate Chinese pride because it took place on the anniversary of Japan's occupation of north-east China.

It does look like the BBC{{AP, et all}} is quoting verbatim from fairly sensationalised Chinese media accounts without attempting to verify them, though. Notwithstanding the influence of national pride on its reporting, the Asahi gives a different slant, suggesting that this was a once-a-year trip organised by one or more companies for their employees, and that while there were Chinese girls acting as hostesses at a company function in the evening, there was none of the mass exodus upstairs with them that the Chinese reports suggests]

Japanese construction company orgy?

Postby Taro Toporific » Mon Sep 29, 2003 2:36 pm

Japanese firm denies involvement in sex orgy at China hotel
TOKYO, Sept. 29 Kyodo (13 :09)- A Japanese construction company on Monday denied involvement in a sex orgy which allegedly took place earlier this month at a luxury Chinese hotel where the firm's employees stayed at during a company trip.

Gee, I wonder WHICH construction company this is? Kumagai Gumi? Sounds like a question for the special talents of Captain Japan to look into, he, he.

Well, when the Spaniards conquered South America, they also "gave" them syphilis (until a few years still deadly), gonorrhea, clamydia, etc....all of these viral diseases (and other bacterial like tuberculosis) were unknown in the American continent.....

I wonder if the Natives of the South and North American continents ever gave any deadly diseases to their conquerors?

Anyway I think it is most disturbing that they tried to raise their flag on a foreign hotel.. not like the US did the same thing in Iraq that almost started a small war with the natives there...

What is it with flags? Do they really command that much power? Symbols.. ode to what we associate them to.

China holds suspects as Japan sex scandal simmersMSNBC - BEIJING, Sept. 29 --- China has detained suspects over a sex scandal involving about 400 Japanese tourists and 500 local prostitutes, a case highlighting the ease with which old anti-Japanese antagonisms can be stirred up in the Internet age....'The police detained some suspects. We don't know if they include Japanese tourists,'' a police spokeswoman for Guangdong province said on Monday. ''The case is under full investigation.''
China's Foreign Ministry spokesman dubbed the incident ''odious"..
State media quoted a manager at the hotel as saying the tourists wanted to hoist the Japanese flag in the lobby but the hotel would not allow it. Those reports could not be confirmed.

...''The Zhuhai incident was obviously a matter of certain Japanese acting as private individuals,'' said a commentator named Wang Ke'an. ''No matter what, nothing shows that the group in Zhuhai had any political intentions.''
Another person confessed feeling ashamed of ''patriots'' who telephoned to curse the hotel in the special economic zone, known for its seedy underbelly.
''How many Chinese people who visit Zhuhai on the pretence of business really come just for business?'' the commentator asked.

anyone that has lived in japan a while will know this is more than propoganda.
99.9% of japanese men have been raised to be nationalistic sexist pigs and this behaviour does NOT surpise me...trying to raise their flag!!i china!! shows how insensitive they are to the past(and present).

lets face the only 3 ways 99.9% japanese male losers can get a root
is
1a japanese woman(not very tricky!!)
2rape
3prositiution

thats it! no surprise a construction company...ah yes concrete.

so here is the challenge....see how many japanese people you know heard this story
youll only need one hand.

Usually I'm with you, but on this one the circumstances are too perfect for it to be the truth. How were the Japanese planning to raise the Hinomaru in the lobby of the hotel?

But the shoe is on the other foot now, as the Japanese are getting dumped on as dirty foreigners. :?

Japanese firm issues denial over Chinese hotel orgy

The Japan Times: Sept. 30, 2003
A Japanese construction firm on Monday denied involvement in "systematic prostitute-buying" during an orgy that allegedly took place earlier this month at a luxury Chinese hotel where the company's employees stayed during a company trip.
"The media reports have quite a lot of errors and they seem to be making people think badly of Japan," said an official of the company, based in Osaka Prefecture. "We were not involved in systematic prostitute-buying."

..."Perhaps some of the employees may have done something like that (in their free time) and that may have led to a misunderstanding," the official said.

Nobody's got the balls or brains to report on this

Note the not even the NYTimes had the balls or brains to report the NAME of the Japanese construction involved. Sheesh. The problem is that the Courier Mail reports they are from FUKUOKA but the Japan Times says, "the company, based in Osaka Prefecture."

Fun quote....
NYTimes wrote:Japanese officials said they had not confirmed the details as reported in the Chinese press. But the deputy chief cabinet secretary, Masaaki Yamasaki, said at a news conference that Japanese should be careful to obey foreign laws when traveling abroad.

I believe the hotel in question in Guangzhou belonged to the Chinese Army. Some the guests were said to have preferred to stay there, as there would be no police raids.

Hm, the acronym on that poster is FAOL, that sounds a lot like either foul or foal, both of which are somewhat disturbing. Jeez, if those companies are going to have sex tours of Asia, they'd do well to be a bit more discrete.
