I stopped reading after the incredible fairytale story of part one. Everything seemed to 'just' happened all on it's own to this poor FG. What a crock. He got what was coming to him for being a total dick. End of story. No sympathy.

Few things about it seem retarded and the guy put himself in there for sure...but regardless of how he got tossed in there, it's interesting.

I do remember the Asahi Dry ads, I'm glad I wasn't the only gaijin that found them kind of pathetic.

Read part 1... will keep going, but not a lot of time. There is a book (in Japango) which covers entrance to exodus of prison life. Not detention, prison. Brutal shit, and one of the few J-books I've read.
