Yeah, I don't know what IPU is talking about. I see baby changing stations in men's rooms all the time in Tokyo. There may not be as many as there are in women's rooms but I fail to see the connection to gay marriage or why it would be such a big inconvenience to recognize that some men also take part in raising their children.

same sex marriage is currently a sacrosanct concept among the acceptables, but when you start to extend the logic you find yourself in some ethically difficult territory. You are just applying a new set of value judgements based on a current trend, but the logic of ethics does not follow the niceties of a cozy conversation among like minded dinner party guests.
