I have a little rant regarding an extremely ignorant FG I came into contact with yesterday.
I was on Takeshita Dori in Harajuku yesterday evening around 7pm hurrying to try to find a Sake-ya-san to purchase some beer on my way to a friend's house for dinner.
Now everybody knows that Takeshita Dori is one of the busiest pedestrian streets in Tokyo and the prime time is a Sunday.
However, as I was entering the street, a large black Mercedes-Benz was beeping its horn trying to enter the street from the JR Harajuku side. In true Tokyo style people were largely ignoring this vehicle.
I looked through the window to see that it was two FG guys in the front seat - the passenger had a video camera set up against the windshield filming the people as they were scattering out of the way of the car on the street.
I said quite politely to the guys that they can't drive down this street. The ignorant knob-head driving said something like, "where is the sign that says you can't drive down this street?"
I kept walking as I was not in the mood for educating arrogant tossers. They kept driving past me and I repeated that they shouldn't be driving down this street. Also that in 5 years I have never seen a car drive down this street.
He replied gruffly that - "Well I have been here for 14 years and I can drive down this street if I like!!"
IMNSHO - you sir, are a tosser!! If you have been here for 14 years then you should know better.
Well if the guys in the car read this forum I want to tell you that you are both wankers and need a good bitch-slapping. Just because you are FG it doesn't mean that you can disobey street signs to take a film where-ever you like. But more than that, the obvious arrogance you displayed was appalling. SHAME ON YOU.
If you wanted to film the street you should have been on-foot. Put the camera on your head for all I care.. but driving down that street on a busy Sunday afternoon is just stupidity.
