"walk in" or pay monthly Gyms in Shinjuku?

Hello all.

I will be staying in Shinjuku for 1 month on business, sadly my hotel has no gym.



Can anyone reccomend a gym with 1 month / walk in membership options with free weights?

There's Tipness and Oasis. I think Oasis is cheaper, but don't know about their free weight situation. Shinjuku Tipness (now called Tip-X) just remodelled, and kinda fucked things up, but they got a free weight area. Not sure what their "one month and I'm outta here" plans are like.

If you go every day, the daily rates can be kinda at these places - most gyms have a drop in rate. Can your hotel recommend a close one? Shinjuku is kinda large so you might want to get one close to your hotel.

I think that Shinjuku Tip-X is (maybe was) having a "no sign up fee" deal, and their monthly tsukaihoudai plan is about 13,000 yen/mo, but each time you go, you do get a free set of towels, of which I've possibly stolen the smaller towel numerous times to use for many household purposes.

The towels aren't very soft, and there are some parts of my anatomical correctness that I don't want to get chaffed, but on the bright side, they dry quickly. I'm referring to the towels drying quickly, not my anatomically correct features....that all depends on the current state of global warming due to hormonal rage, release, and afterglow.
