In October 1967, Pete Seeger took his family to Matsuyama, Ehime Pref.
Seeger's wife, Toshi (a Japanese American) used the opportunity to meet her father's relatives using records that were kept by Matsuyama Castle.

I stumbled across this photo of a "Japanese MARRIAGE of the Rich and Famous" that of Star Trek creator Gene Roddenberry and Majel Barrett-Roddenberry.
(Notice the smirk on Majel's face.)
