I am about 3 years behind you, so I really feel your pain man.

Sorry, I shouldn't have posted what I did (in a bout of self-pity).
Really grateful, though, to all! Thanks!!!

EDIT... I just tried to edit my quote of those words and could not see the edit button... but on this post it was ok...

Sorry you're not so lucky, SDH. I see my kid 3 times a week and even w/ that, I'm still a little bummed.

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but I would rather tough it out living with them rather than splitting and having double the expenses.

gaijinpunch wrote:Hmm... so many angles to attack this. Wasn't getting anything from the wife when we were under one roof. One of many reasons for the split up. Now, I get more pussy than I can handle (well kept, high quality stuff too!) so no problem.
The only thing that would suck about her banging other guys is that they might fork up the funds. However, I don't see this happening. Not for a while. Sure, it could and it would confuse things (especially if I decided to move to another cuntry) but she is not 28, which is basically the date of expiry for J-hos, a bit anti-social, and has a hafu kid. Nobody really busting down the deai-kei sites for the likes of her.
Call it what you want, I send them a substantial amount of dough every month. We haven't sorted out the particulars yet, and I was fine with that. I know this seems like an asshole thing to say as I don't know everybody else's scenario, but I think mine was top tier bullshit. It was brutal... and the current situation is worth the dough... especially considering my aforementioned bird. I'm just glad I can afford it, even though it's not easy in this shit economy.
chokonen888 wrote:If she's that bad, wouldn't you likely get custody of the kids? The only think J-people dislike more than FG is deadbeat J-people....
IparryU wrote:that and I dont like spending money if i dont need to.
if push does come to shove, i will just refuse to pay shit until i get the terms i want. she aint getting no guy with money at this point, especially with 2 hafu and works at the family chow hall...
plus the inlaws want be to stay with the kids (and wife) cause they dont want the other twin to be a single mom as well.
but for now, i hold my cards.

I'm w/ this guy.
Well... what goes around comes around. And I love the fact that Japan will get a big GTFO cause they didn't sign the 1980 Hague Convention.Coligny wrote:Cute article on j-mothers who can't get their kids back from dirty foreigners because japan is not member of the Hague convention...

Low on details... and seemingly not putting too much accent on the US legal aspect of the thing... except to say that the fathers play by the book stateside...
Didn't knew that wife of us citizen needed to be sponsored for a visa... To access citizenship, yea, might not be an overnight affair... but spouse visa !?
