I may have a problem...

Called the in-laws house today, where my wife lives. The phone is disconnected. Wife is not answering e-mails and neither has her sister.

However, its only been since this morning...so I don't know whats going on.

Has anyone heard anything like fires or murders in Hachinohe?

Just trying to get info cuz, I can't contact any of my sources in Japan right now....

Is that Aomori? I just checked the Japanese-language Yomiuri news website, and nothing seems amiss at the moment.

Same thing happened to me once 4 years ago AO. I was totally freaking out.. I thought North Korea had wiped out Japan :D

Turned out otousan forgot to pay the bill.. do'h.

Same thing happened to my wife a couple of months ago. Couldn't get hold of me all night, and was convinced I was being a dirty unfaithful bastard. Fact was I was merely getting pissed in a B1F bar while discussing important issues like why such a large female bar tender was so lacking in the arse department.

Anyway when I surfaced the ketai spat out a raft of nasty messages. Decided that responding in my inebriated state would be very unwise, and so left it until the following morning.

Nice to know that it's not just the banshee female halves that get all paranoid.
