Johnny Shiloh was such a successful soldier maybe we should make kids fight all our wars? (Actually, I'd really much rather see them battled out by the wealthy and privileged, but those people only know how to start wars, not fight them.)

Sorry, hadn't really followed the thread. I didn't know about Johnny Shiloh...fascinating story.

I've got some great photos of WWII schoolgirls training with bamboo spears to impale gaijin invaders...I think. They're on a fucked HDD I haven't got the money to get repaired, so I don't know if I'll ever be able to retrieve them. (Have thousands and thousands of old time Japan photos on it, actually....)

I would prefer to put them in between the middle class and below of BOTH countries that are going to war and just off them...

how about we just flat tax the whole world, no deductions, higher the salary, higher the tax, free health care, everyone must do 4 years of civil service (military) and work until you are 50 (27/28 years of work...) to claim your pension and prolonged health care...
