Murder in Roppongi last night

Postby Samurai_Jerk » Sun Sep 02, 2012 11:39 am

I pulled an allnighter in Roppongi for the first time in awhile yesterday. When I was leaving this morning the streets were crawling with even more cops than usual and people were saying someone got murdered. This article in Japanese says that the victim was drinking at a place when a group of about 10 guys wearing ski masks suddenly entered the shop and without saying anything beat the guy with what appeared to be steel pipes. They then escaped by car. The victim died at the hospital. The article also says that there were about 300 other people in the shop when it happened. I'm not sure exactly where it went down but it seems like it was in or near the ROI Building. The article doesn't mentioned nationality so I guess no gaijin are expected to have been involved. Anyway, sounds like the yaks to me.

300 against 10 with steel pipes ? And the guys got away ?

Dear god...

In any other country the cops would have had to wait for the party people to be finished with the sky-masked punks before being able to scrap them of the floor...

And dun't get me started with the bars where people actually pay to get roughed up by strangers...

Yes, I'm sure a group of ten mafia thugs wearing ski masks and wielding steel pipes would face serious resistance in most places.

Indeed, especially if Coligny was there to lead the charge.

Meanwhile I see the police have their best guys on the job... "警視庁捜査1課は何らかのトラブルがあったとみて" -> "the First Investigative Bureau (or however it's translated) believe there was some kind of trouble involved".

Actually... even in a dancing club for senior citizen, a panic rush to the exit door would easily got anyone staying on the way trampled to death... sky mask or not...

When you are at a ratio of 30 to 1... close/hand-to-hand combat weapon are a bit... desperate... Would just take 2 or 3 person armed with CO2 fire extinguishers to level the playing field.

Wow...ski masks thuggery in this safety cuntry? Wonder how long it will take Blinky to blame it on Chinese, Koreans, Zainichi, etc

....and yeah, WTF is wrong with people when noone dared to try and stop them. Ski masks? Pipes? Pick up a chair/table/etc and knock half of them down with one blow.

The victim was with 5 or 6 people and some report are saying that they were also involved and couple of them received minor injuries so it might not have been as one sided as it initially seemed. What seems odd to me is that they were able to pull this off and all get away by car considering how bad traffic is and how many cops are out on a typical Saturday night in Roppongi.

Cops...TIJ though...by the time they've completed their hourensou procedure to use a vehicle for pursuit, the culprits were long gone.

Obviously they didn't make the rookie mistake of cycling away while using white person novelty party masks from Donki for a disguise

Flower is right on the corner and has 2 ways to get down the stairwell and several exits that can get in and out the building (not including the maze in ROI building) and also is really close to a small street that is never busy and is easy to catch a cab or park a few cars down the street.

Flower is not a "club", but a "Event Space" that the yaks set up so they can allow dancing, huge PR, and they also slang powder inside from my understanding.

News outlets are reporting that the victim was restaurateur named Ryosuke Fujimoto (藤本亮介) and some Japanese bloggers are claiming Fujimoto was a Zainichi Korean who ran a yakiniku place in Shibuya called Meushi (雌牛). I knew gaijin had to be involved somehow.

The victim Fujimoto is a member of Kanto Rengo.
Dojin-kai, one of Kyushu yakuzas, is a one of wholesalers of hard drags in Japan. All of Tokyo yakuzas have to buy hard drags from Dojin-kai to sell people.
But Kanto Rengo has their own route to obtain hard drags and ignore Dojin-kai. So Dojin-kai got angry at Kanto Rengo and killed a executive member of Kanto Rengo 4 years ago by the same way, sky-masked several dudes having steel pipes.
And now... this.

Assuming what you're saying is true are we sure that he's a Zainichi Korean and the same Fujimoto that runs Meushi? So far I haven't seen that reported by any "reputable" news agency.
