クラビット is Levofloxacin, a strong antibiotic that is way over prescribed here. Unless your cough is from some sort of crazy bacterial infection it will do sweet fuck all for you. It also has some rather nasty potential side effects and you shouldn't be taking it and doing any strenuous physical activity. One of the more dramatic side effects is it increases the chance of achilles tendon ruptures.

Yeah, I get that shit for virtually everything from this doc. I ran out on Saturday but to be honest, it did seem to stop my cough. I also had an infection in one of my toes (bye bye toenail), from god knows where (onsen? gym shower? there is definitely some soap resistant mutant shit on the floors there and they won't let you wear crocs/sandals to prevent walking on it), that it cleared up. To be honest, I'd feel safer on it now with this hole in my neck, than without it, but yeah, I'll see what they do for me tomorrow...

So basically, it's perfect for his current skinhole condition...

Yes, it is likely a good thing for that.

It was prescribed for his cough though, and docs here prescribe it for everything (colds...). It's supposed to be a backup anitbiotic for when something becomes resistant to more mundane meds but the way it is prescribed here it will soon be useless against nearly anything.

The point of deodorant is to decrease the production of the bacteria that creates BO. The unscented stuff does that just as well as the scented stuff but without the overpowering perfume.

I thought it was also the aluminium compound that stopped the perspiration too...

But anyhoo - I don't sweat - I just glow... :flame: :smile2:

Antibiotics are overprescribed everywhere in the world, sadly. The amount of superbacteria that are antibiotic resistant is growing at a really alarming pace.

yanpa if there is a specific UK or Danish brand that you like, let me know in a PM.

Perfect for my condition but I'm not on it since sat....when the doc suddenly changed his tune to "飲む薬辞めた方が良い!" shouted from the next room when I asked him about extending my prescription as he had said he would do daily for the past 2 days :wall:

And yes, as I mentioned, they prescribe this shit for evertthing....to make matters worse, only 5 days worth at a time. Recipe for drug resistant mutant diseases? :shakeh:

For using them where they'd actually be useful? Don't get me wrong, I am not wearing them out as regular shoes (like so many j-people seem to be doing) but where there's water, why not?

Hole in your neck, infectious toe-jam - damn Choko - you are a walking petri dish of fungus.

I hope you make sure all your lemurs have had their shots. hhmmm perhaps these two factors are linked somehow.

BTW - I was out for lunch today so missed the daily pus report. Thank fuck for small mercies.

It seems he has a compromised immune system. I wonder what could cause that?

Hahahaha, it's just been a bad few weeks for me. Already had my annual STD testing done so no worries there but have been under some insane stress at work which definitely fucks with your immune system. At least I lost the weight I wanted, just sucks I need to wait til they sew me up before I go back to the gym. (they didn't say so but not risking anything with this level of medical "care")

Yeah, when it rains...

Doc did the exact opposite of what I expected today...instead of stitching the middle up, he pulled out the existing stitches. According to him, the inside will continue to push up and it will seal/heal itself  I got some topical meds and stocked up on the waterproof dressing that Taro mentioned earlier. I go back in another week for a status check but it's still gross the way it is. At least the pharmacy girl was cute. I need to get a refill just to go back and get her digits :cool2:

Could make sense... since the green paste was contained in a pocket under the skin. Thus explaining why you didn't die from septicaemia/toxic choc with green paste entering the bloodstream. Maybe that pocket need to be folded up as new top skin... (still really bit to much into my cat skinning nightmare to think straight on these matters...).

Many deodorants are also antiperspirants, but not all. There are some that are made without the antiperspirant ingredients as some people are allergic to them.
